and thinking about the past

she remembers

many injuries which healed
many smiles were silent
many tears have dried up

and she's almost twenty-five

for stephanie, right now
there is this familiar situation
so different in meaning
and so equally by the characters

by every possible endings
they chose no tragedy
no splattered blood

he still have a smile to share
she still have a tear to shed

(hoping that this was the last tear
and wishing for another smile to live)

she goes her way
without falling apart
